Actually... I am not sure we will be there. We have focused a great deal of our budget on prize support and on GenCon. I think the next big show we are planning on is GenCon Indy. And we will have our largest event there. The MEGA Face Off Tournament, with a $15,000.00 1st prize including $10,000.00 cash and cards for life! Check out www.creativegamingevents.com for details.

IMO you need someone there. A large percentage of Origin goers also attend Gen con. Maybe you don't have the bucks for a huge thing. But at the least someone in the ccg room handing out stuff and doing demo's. The investment for something like this would be small. But it could make a huge difference at Gen con. Just my 2 pennies.

Make that six pennies. I agree with Python about the need for something involving Mystical Empire at Origins.

I would need to look into how to go about getting the authority to hand out materials and give demos in the CCG room. Where we would not be an exhibitor I am not sure how that would work. But if we can do something like that we would most certainly send you both everything you would need to show off Mystical Empire at Origins. Some demo decks, boosters, starters, brochures, flyers, business cards, so on. If this is something you guys have done already and you know the ins and outs of how it is done then let me know and I will hook you up, big time!

We've put in many a hour doing this sort of thing. We can demo the game in any open gaming area. we wouldn't be selling anything and they can't stop a person from saying " hey want to learn how to play a new game?" We've demoed games in hall ways. And alot of those people will show up at Gen con looking to play Mystical empire.
