I keep hearing how only 4 characters are really seeing tourney play. That saddens me, since I see so much potential in the other 8, it is not even funny.

well there would be more potential if LPR and LZ were dropped... because with them there is too fast of a game play for you to be able to survive in a tourny with most other chars

They are pretty easy to slow down though. I have a build I am tweaking that using Belphegor that is effetive against all characters, but it uses LPR's strength against her. I call it April 15th.

well any curse deck would of course use LPR's drawing power against her...

Link has a point. I fear the same thing, that being that LPR makes the metagame too fast to try and get too creative with other characters. LPR, LZ, Grimus, maybe Sutraps, maybe maybe Glye...
Belphegor is fun, and one of my favorites, but I fear not good enough in real high level play. Same goes for Thandore, and it just gets worse from there on out...

I wish I had more staples so I could make more decks easier, maybe then I could exploit the other characters easier... like I currently have only 1 ring of temp U_U

You guys got it on the first try. I am going to make one hard core mill deck, with the Tax Collectors as the finisher since they end game instantly instead of making you wait 5 more turns.
Also, plop 3 skid rows in their decks. One stays around and the others pop for 5 off the top, and usually one after the other if played right. And everyone knows if you cheat on your tax returns, that is where you are going to end up. lol
Like I said, we Georgia players are sadistic.

Cool, I used to play a belphagor with the tax collectors, wasen't quite fast enough for tourney play, but it was still fun none the less, I like your idea Thrall King, I hope I get a chance to play against the peachies sometime soon.

The point is not to be fast, it is to slow down your opponent.
