Look at Windes climbing the charts of ME, current holding 4th and 13th and with the rest of the pack not too far behind. Not bad... There is no point to this. Just a shameless plug for WCW (windy-city-warriors...don't you love how cheesy that is! he, he, lol). ;D I almost advise you to ignore this altogether. I was bored.  |

If you guys actually got some sanctioned events rolling there in Windy, you might actually have a chance of becoming 3rd.  |

Not to disagree with you, but with the superflous way the points still jump at this level, it's in my humble opinion that we could even do better than that if we had regularly scheduled sanctioned tournaments. Alas, we only have ourselves to blame.
IMO, when the top ratings are decided in the higher up 1800 or 1900 hundred brackets, where points are harder to earn and losses take dramatic plunges in points, then the top spots would be a little more secure. Right now, with the game being so green, the glass ceiling is still in the early 1700s. That doesn't provide a lot of insurance. However, this is making for one nerve-wrecking Regional at NE this weekend. They're all so close to the top!!!
I'll get tourneys running if it's the last thing I do. Not even so that we may try to compete in ratings but just for the sake of ME. The success of me would benefit us all...
This thread was just to encourage other new players that the game is really exciting right now. A little hard work will put even the game's top players within reach, not to take anything away from those fantastic players of course.
Really...I mean that...no joke. Yay NE players! Good luck!

it was really weird. i went 4-0 an chris went 3-1 but now he is only 5 pts below and he WAS about 9.
