Good day to all,
As we have heard it is hard form some members to meet on Wednesday eve. I would like ot get as much chatter on this board as possable and I am sure others would like that as well.
I am ok with having the chat start at 8pm if that helps others as well...
What dates and Times work best for everyone???
I am hoping with this that we get more peopel involved...

A later start on Wed would work for me.
Do we have any ongoing topics or hot topics that need to be discussed? If not, I have a couple of ideas that I would like to share on the next chat.

What time later is better for you? Are you talking about 10pm eastern time or just an hour later?
Hopefully we will get somethign to work out. And as of this time it is just a semi organized cluster of topics. I have asked if we should have a outline to email evenyone before hand but peopel are not for that. I am up for either way was long as it brings more players to the chat and game.

Well, I hate to have a chat scheduled just for me!  Since I run two stores, I am here everyday, and some days are more hectic than others. So I am used to trying to fit this in or fit that in, you know what I mean! No more so than anyone else with a busy schedule! Something to think about would be to post one or two topics that the chat will focus on first, then open it up to general questions. That might make it more interesting and people could pick and choose to make sure they are at the chats that interest them. For example, we could have a schedule like this: 4/13 7pm EST - Topics: Dark Union Vampire errata; 4/20 7pm EST - Topics: Structure questions; Recruiter errata; 4/27 7pm EST - Topics: Prize card redemption; Ratings changes for events; Or something like that. If you weren't interested in that topic(s), then you might skip that Friday night. (Or whenever.) People could post for topics that interest them, and you could assign them to various nights. Then we could take a synopsis of the chat and re-post on the board for further exchanges. Just a thought! (Okay, I've used all my actions...I am fully engaged for the day!) |

My logic with the chat is that we would attract more people if it is an open forum. If we lay it out, then people who aren't interested in that topic may not show up. Also, we can discuss topics daily on the forums. My thought behind the chat is to talk to ME and/or CGE members personally, whether you want to address a problem or just chat. But I am not the god of the chat. In fact, I don't think I've ever joined a Chat Room that wasn't for Mystical Empire. So I could be wrong.
On a lighter note, I don't think I can commit myself to Fridays at 7 weekly. I can't join Saturday night either. I would therefore prefer a weeknight first, then Sunday night if that fails. I'm sure this will not work out to most people's schedules though. We've discussed this with people, but I'm gonna open it to a poll to hopefully get more results from people who don't really have a comment.
