You know it wasn't more than a month ago when he was perceived as almost, dare I say, "broken". Where has he run off to now?
If we were to build a tourney ready deck now...
-What would it look like...aggro...control? -Would it even be viable anymore?
My M.O. is to stay from the most popular decks and try to build my own thing, or at least go with decks that don't get much attention. That's why I never really wanted to use Grimus cuz I knew you did. But now...I kinda feel sorry for him.
Thoughts?

Well, Grimus has not really been seen since people had built decks specifically meant to beat Grimus. I'd say he is still a viable character, but no one dares use him with all of the high powered characters and the goblin archers being used so much.
If you were to build a good Grimus deck, I think that it should be a Grimus Control deck. Take it from me, I have A LOT of experience playing Grimus, and Control works the best for him. However, an Aggro/Control with spirits is also a good deck to make around him.

Well, I've been toying with a Grimus control deck lately myself, but I can't get the right mix. I mean sometimes I can get these crazy locks in by turn 2 or 3, but other times the deck seems to stumble over itself and be vulnerable. All in all, I'm not afraid of aggro decks since they don't pick on my critters too often, but my friends burn deck kills me hopelessly. I have to get dubs Sworn Defender to have a chance.

I have still said that Grimus control is a top deck but Goblin Archers have totally dimished the playability aspect. Spiller went 3-1 with a Grimus deck in the tourney before last but losing to GA in 2 games straight on 2nd turn gives you an awakening. The harsh reality is there is mass aggro in all the top decks and if you cant stop it fast then you lose. And the Grimus clock is shorter than most.
