New Skin Suggestion

This is something I threw together as an idea for a new skin for the forum.

I already sent Keith a link and offered to give him the code and even do some of the harder installation myself.

What do you guys think?

Drag and drop. I also have a Java chat room in it (not part of the skin, but it might be able to replace the other one).

it looks decent, but i would suggest color where you can (the card backs) also the title of each forum probably shouldn't match the background, IMO

The card backs actually change to color when you are logged in and there are new posts. ;D

It is hard to find a better bg color, since I have decided to crop everything from ME cards (other than the main bg, that is from the main site).

Well, it seems Keith did not like the job we did on the skin.

He came on and everything went back to normal.

I hope he doesn't think I hacked it. I also hope Q does not get in trouble, nor that this hurts my Rep status (been waiting for over a month for my stuff).

LOL. No, it's not that way at all. It'll all work out. It's cool.

We went ahead and rendered some of the changes without advising him, which was a little bold, but it's understandable. I think we should wait until he has some time to render it permanently. I trust that in that time Keith will either work with you/us directly or will bestow the access that we require anyway. For what it's worth, I saved the code before removing it. We'll just have to be a little patient.

You'll get your stuff...lol. Don't worry. You've done nothing but love ME and helped out greatly. Have you talked to Becky lately? She might be able to help you further if you haven't yet.

did you like the black and grey parts to it? q and thrall king are trying to spruce this up but need more direct input from you...

Everything in this link shows up nice and clear to me. Nice white text on a greyish background. I like the paper background behind the text fields. I like the company logi on the top. I haven't seen anything in this link that doesn't look good to me. If you could make this forum look exactly like that one I think I woukd be happy.

thrall king has some very nice ideas...q is supporting him (and keeping him in line) but neither have the access they need to do everything they want. Only you do Keith, so talk with them (or meet me in chat?)

Exactly. If you could give either of us more access to the admin control panel, I can make this site identical to that one (the card back icons change to color when there are new posts). Plus there are a few other things. I basically want to make this forum look like a card. Let's say miniprofile=character card. I also want the links to be red like the mechanics.

Keith, if you could send me the blank card images and fonts, this will be the most awesome forum ever.
