Player registration is open for Gasp Con 7. It is Nov 4th and 5th in Pittsburgh Pa Usa. I will be demoing Mystical Empire from Saturday Night at 12:00 AM till 4:00 AM (or until we get sleepy ). (It isn't on the schedule yet but it will be soon). There will also be casual playing going on for those that have cards. I will have some constructed decks to pass out for those that wish to play (but don't have a deck). This isn't a tournament, just an excuse to pimp the game, and play it at a convention : ) I find tournaments can lead to yelling, and rules questions (I don't like either, hehe). For more info go here: www.eonsreach.com/gasp/gasp_con/gaspcon.htmlWe are using Warhorn for preregistration: www.warhorn.net/gaspcon7/Maybe I will see a few of you there. Tim aka The Knight of Frost (My Gasp Title) I will be wearing a snazzy Mystical Empire T-shirt for the event ;D, but the rest of the time I will be wearing my Gasp shirt.

I wanted to thank you guys at Northeast Games, for sending the free stuff Gasp's way to hand out at GaspCon7. ;D I will be splitting up the free stuff to those that demo the game, and play in casual games. If for some reason people don't show up to play at the convention, I will demo the game at future Gasp Open Gaming Days, and hand the stuff out there. www.gaspgamer.com for more info. Thanks again guys. P.S. You're Cool.

Well the guys at Gasp handed out the starter decks you gave us, to all of the people who signed up to play in any event at the Con, until they were gone. So everyone that showed up early got a starter deck of some sort. So everyone has at least heard of the game, and has a deck that they can play with, even if they aren't normally a CCG player.
Then the Demo went fairly well, I had about 10 people (less than I expected...) that showed up and wanted to learn how to play. 2 of them had played before so they helped and passed out decks that they had made to the new players and we played from 11PM till about 3 AM. when I started to get whiny and tired, hehe.
They were all impressed by the Goblin Promo cards, and by the amount of cards they received for demoing the game and showing up. They all left happy, and they all enjoyed the game. They said it definately helps to have someone teaching you new CCGs as they are a little complicated at first to learn on your own. One of the guys said he heard of the game from Gen-Con and was glad he got a chance to demo the game at our Con.
The Con was about 150 people, up about 30% from last year. Every year it grows a little as word of mouth gets out there. The goal of Gasp is to make the Con self sustaining. IE so we don't have to fundraise for it all year long, hehe.
So thanks again for the free cards, they went to good homes.

Thank you for helping us promote our game! We hope to do it again next year and maybe even help sponsor your event more, too. Congrats on a successful show! =)
ps. Did you guys try out Fish Antics?

I saw that they put the Fish Antics in the Game Library, that anyone could play, but I didn't get a chance to play it (as my schedule was full running 4 events and playing in 2).
Thanks again.
