David gave me a great demo last night and I think I have a decent grasp on the rules but wanted to clarify a few things. I enjoy the game and have already drummed up some interest in our regular CCG playgroup for the game! Now for a few questions.
1. During turn one, the starting player only gets one action during his turn. Does this fully engage his character if he were to hire a creature or would he still be able to defend (or use another ability) during your opponents turn?
2. Apprentices get shuffled into their deck whenever they become engaged but at what speed does this happen? For example, can they defend or would that shuffle them back into the deck before they could actually damage the creature they are blocking & defending?
3. When a creature with wandering "wanders" to your opponent, does it enter play thus becoming fully engaged or do they gain control of it disengaged?
4. Return to play effects, such as Bindakoo, cause the creature to come into play fully engaged or disengaged?
5. With Sutraps, all damage done to him is reduced by 1. If my opponent attacks me with 4 creatures all with a power of 1 (no blocking) would all the damage be prevented or would 3 damage be applied?
6. Grimus gives all creatures false loyalty. Do creatures with 0 loyalty still roll to see if they abandon during the loyalty stage?
7. If a creature has more than one action, can it use that action to attack a second time(characters I know cannot)? Also, if you disengage a creature (such as a cleric with an acolyte after combat, could you then attack with it again and/or does disengaging a creature reset his # of actions?
I think that is it for now. After some extensive playtesting of the precons, it seems that the Lady McDonnan and her minions seem to dominate the rest. We look forward to a great spring league!
