If Mystical Empire is your favorite game what are you doing in your town or city to make it more widely known. I am making this thread because I am hoping to inspire people to do more.So that all of us to know that we are all working together to make this game great. I will start with my own just to let people know what I have done for the game personally.
I went to conquest LA and became a volunteer for the convention scheduled an event to get people into it I took a Los Angeles metro bus in one day stayed all three nights pretty much on the floor of our LARP gaming room. I demoed at world con this time we went to the game con each day and home each night. I demoed all day and worked a LARP at night. We did demoes at our special booth here we added 9 players to the Mystical Empire game. I went to comicon and due to a motel fiasco I demoed Mystical Empire all day and wandered san diego at night we garnered about 5 players there. I did most of this just because I want Mystical Empire to get out there and I knew getting to people at the cons was vital.
Now I want to hear all the great stories out there I know people have done way more then me. I know people have worked and reworked the rules so lets hear from all of you great supporters.

Probably 4 years ago I sacrificed my Saturdays and Tuesday nights for close to a year playtesting the early stages of the game with Keith and some other local card players. Since then, I've gone to 4 Conventions with Keith and others, and I am scheduled to do 2 more, which is not part of my job description and something I do NOT enjoy doing. I have put a lot of manpower toward Mystical Empire, but almost everything after what I've listed I've gotten payed for, so that doesn't quite count. But I am committed 110% to this cause.

Hmm what i have I dont for ME.
I have seen the game demoed once and I have demoed it about 20 times to people that could be interested. Once the dark Union set was not release on time they gave up following it. Not to mention that there is no advert for t.
I have set up play dates at a local shop but only 3-4 peopel show up once a week. I have the largest card pool and give them cards so I can at least play.
I have not done any conventions because I think that games need to satrt at a local level and move to Cons not start at cons and trickle down to local shops. its nice top have your game premere at a con but then after that you need to support your local shops.
I am also not interested in spending 15$-45$ on prize support for a game. You want to sell you game and get it promoted give the popel that want to demo it free prize support. Its bad enough to give cards away to draw peopel to the game and then you have to go out and pay for more prize support. Not a good concept...
If I worked for the company then it would be different, that your job. Hrrmmm, how rough, marketing for a game and demoing a game and also traveling around for the game... To be so burdened to have that for a job...
I guess I have not done a whole on a wide level because I cant get the local support.
I guess that i have also resparked the boards and maybe once more people get on the board they will see that poeple have issues witht he game and this is whats going to be done about them...
