I would not think that u would be able to disengage the effected creature by any means because I believe that the intention of the card is to have the creature " remains Fully Engaged....so long as Illusionary Fighter remains in Play."

I would also have to agree with redshirt on this one. The illusionary effect would have to be removed in order for that creature to be able to be disengaged by any means necessary.

The card would stay fully engaged and even Vorex wouldn't be able to disengage it. This is due to " remains Fully Engaged" as long as "Illusionary Fighter remains in Play".. You would need to remove the effect or purify it which is almost the same as removing it. Remember effects are continuous until removed.
Sojo out!

My initial understanding is that Vorex wouldn't be able to untap the creature, as people have said. However, it is possible to (mis)read the card as meaning, "Effected Creature becomes Fully Engaged. It remains Fully Engaged. It cannot Block so long as Illusionary Fighter remains in Play."

Even by your sentence restructure, it would continue to work the same way. Even the phrase "It remains Fully Engaged" by itself surrounded in periods wouldn't accomplish any deviation to the ruling as it stands. The card is an effect, and it is integral to the power of effects that their influence holds as long as they are in play. It's a stretch to infer against that, and IMO almost any judge would infer the way some people here already have.

I think it is fair to say that creature is locked down unless you find a way to remove Illusionary Fighter.
