They gain Archery tokens but not the Archer Mechanic? So after learning how to shoot a bow they forget after shooting it? That totally doesn't make sense.

The longer you stay in the school the more tokens you gain, yet you can only remove one at a time. So, it is like anything else, if you only go for one day, you're only going to learn so much. Seriously though, somethings are done just for the sake of smooth game play; and if you think in terms as I just did, it does make sense.

Right! I again stress that you can't add real world logic all of the time to CCGs.

You're absolutely right, you can't add it all of the time, because issues like game balance and playability have to be taken into consideration, too. However, I feel that where other such factors don't interfere, adding as much logic and realism (for a fantasy game, that is) as possible improves the game.

Yes it can help. No argument there.

I try for as much logic as possible and I cringe when I find something that is so illogical that it stabs at the heart of civilized thinkers. I stumble upon these illogicalities every now and then within the game and I try to cove them up as must as possible. Because it just seems so impossible to make them logical and make the game still work. Then when players find them and point them out, I feel like running to find the knuse and start tying it the the ceiling fan. I hate M:tG for its MANY illogicalities. I created this game so the world could have a great game that is fun, challenging, and logical. So many games just throw logic out the window for the sake of gameplay...
Sorry... I didn't mean to ramble on...
