Can the poacher block and defend against characters with flying? I know it doesn't say characters on the card...but it seems to me that if it can block and defend against flying creatures, why not flying characters? Just wondering. Thanks.

Maybe because flying Characters weren't thought of as too much of a threat when the card was made. As it stands, I would rule that it can't block flying Characters; the card doesn't specifically say it can, while it does state so with Creatures...so until it gets changed...

As the card reads, it cannot block characters with flying. It may have been an oversight but as printed, it can only block flying creatures.
