Tournaments

Is there a place that will list all of the tournaments that are being held? I see some on the Mystical Empire site but is that all that is being run. What about running one large tourney a month in different areas so that way not the same people are traveling all over to play? I will be conversing with a local shop owner to see if we might be able to do state or regional tourneys.

I guess to get to the point, is there a place that we cango for a list of all the tournaments. Could anyone that knows of any please list them?

I am from Maine and looking for places to play. Are there enough people in Maine, N. Hampshire and Mass that would travel to play in big tourneys? I know of about 5-6 people that play in Maine and want to do tourneys. We are starting a league soon and hoping for a good turn out. I am sure once the league starts and more people are exposed to it the game will grow.

Hey, I'm from Maine as well! What part of main are you from jc? I would most likely be able to travel to any tourneys as long as there not TOO far. Great to see more support for the game.

Hmmm. Just wondering but i have a league event scheduled for May 18 at Weekend anime in Westbrook Maine that isn't on the webpage did i just get it in to late for it to show up there? If so how early do they need to be up?

Also a bit off topic but the cge reporting site doesnt seem to have any way of actualy reporting league results anyone got some info on how to do that or if i need to? emailed keith but he didn't respond to that part of my lengthy email. prolly slipped through a crack there?

Sorry Maligore, I got your emails last night. I will respond to them today.

As for league reporting. We are working on making it paperless, (and this will happen very soon I believe), but for now they need to be tracked with paper and then fax to us. Or you could email us the results. You should let me know what day the league is going to be on every week and I will post it on the site.

Arashi I live in the portland area. I play alot at Weekend Anime, its in westbrook maine. I am friends with Maligore, the owner of Weekend Anime and we are working on getting tourneys, leagues and such started for ME. We or I will be working on getting a collection of ME cards for sale and trade. Maligore and I talked about it and he seemed interested in that as well.

Are there any other players in Maine? If so lets try to hook up and talk to each other about what days would be good for tourneys. Right now I am thinking that we can do one a month as soon as I hear back from Keith about becoming a judge. I have not heard anything of tournement Organizers so I dont know if they do that as well.

Like Maligore said we are doing a league @ weekend Anime Thursdays if any one wants to show up. Hear is the addi if you want to map quest it...

Sorry that I could not come today but I had an appointment that I had to keep. One question however. What time does the league start and end?

I did play at the paperback bazaar but since almost no one showed up I stopped going. However if you would like to come, we should still be having it tomorrow and every Friday from 5pm to 9pm. If you post that you would like to come sometime before 4pm tomorrow then I would be more than happy to meet you there. I have another new deck that I'm itching to test out before the tourney on Saturday.

Any way I will probably be able to go to weekend anime on Thursday next week. And in regards to when the best time for tournaments are, I would probably say that Saturdays are the best time for them. Just make sure that you don't schedule one on the same day as another(as there are two this Saturday).

By the way, will you be going to the sanctioned constructed tourney at iGamespot on Saturday?

I will not be going to any tourneys this weekend, The best time for me to have tourneys is on sundays or late afternoon Satuerdays. The league @ weekend Anime is constructed so we get to play there. I have only played the 4 different people that play there. I would love to hear and see different deck ideas. If you have any that you would like to share please email me @ [e-mail] . I am not sure of how far away somerworth is so I would have to map quest it. I have to work till 5 pm tonight and then I am guessing it is @ least 1 1/2 hours away.

Also do you know what ultra rares are going for? I am missing a total of 6 to make 1st edition set and Reconing.

Keith Have you heard when the online judge stuff will be coming out? Also do you have Tournement Organizers/directors for ME? I am interested in becoming a judge or a organizer or director. What ever you guys have.
