June 3rd Tourney Results

Today we where able to hold a last minute tourney due to having a great turnout of people. We did a single elm event and we gave out a 1/2 of box of Reckoning for prizes..

Today we have some different decks! Yay! But sadly none of them made it to the top 2. John Murins Archer was here and ready to pwn. He played me 5 times and won each game when we where just playing around. But first round in the event he gets paired up with Jay's Zycon Burn deck and gets raped.

As for new decks we had dwarf deck, which was funny because it almost won against Becca's Zycon Wizard Aggro deck in semi finals. The matches where so close it was crazy!

But even with Archers, Dwarfs, and Grimus the top 2 decks where Wizards.

Top 4 Results:
1st Rebecca (Wizard Aggro)
2nd Jay A. (Wizard Burn)
3rd&4th Brandon (Dwarf Aggro)/Tony (Grimus Control)

The next event will be Thursday June 8th. Hopefully we will see more people this time as the word starts spreading. Plus for any of you looking forward to the Regional or the Gencon Mega Face off you should really look at attending at least one of these events to get some real good play testing in.

Gah! There was a tourney today? Man, I wish I knew. Are you going to be holding tourneys every thursday AND saturday from now on?

Oh and by the way, today I was working on some deckbuilding and I built this one deck. To start I tested it against my Grimus deck. The new deck beat my Grimus deck 11-4 in a total of 15 matches! I'm going to test it against other decks tomorrow to see how it will hold out against Zycon control types and aggro decks. So far though I think the deck is Awsome! I probably won't use it at the next tourney as I have also thought of a way to better my Grimus deck. I'm gonna try that out tomorrow as well.

We will be keeping the every Thursday's all the way up to regional. As for this past weekend it was more a demand due to the people here. If it happens again then I will try doing regular Saturdays in addition to the Thursday's. I don't want to burn everyone out on events but with the Regionals coming here at the end of the month everyone is trying to test out decks so I think that’s what got everyone hyped. After the regional I would love to have weekend events on a schedule and move League to Thursdays. But we will have to wait and see.
