So, how is the infinite redirect loop of having two Sworn Defenders (assume control of one of them has somehow been gained from an Opponent, like the two City Walls issue) resolved?

As the controller of both Sworn Defenders, it would be your choice as to where damage is inflicted.

Anyway, it's as Patrick suggests. Damage usually comes from one source at a time, so both would attempt to trigger simultaneously, where then you would choose where it goes resolving one Defender while the other fails. Keep in mind that if you are being dealt 4 damage persay, you cannot break it up b/t the 2. One would most certainly die. Lot of people don't know that...

Lot of people don't know that...That's what I get for having been away for a while. When I was first reading this card listing, for some reason I was thinking that the "U" at the bottom of the stats meant it was Ultra Rare, rather than remembering it meant it was Uncommon. Dense me. As for the loop I was referring to, I was thinking it would kick in like this: a) Damage is about to be dealt to one of your Creatures b) You choose Sworn Defender A to redirect it to c) The Damage about to be dealt to Sworn Defender A triggers Sworn Defender B's ability, redirecting the damage to it d) The Damage about to be dealt to Sworn Defender B triggers Sworn Defender A's ability, redirecting the damage to it ad infinitum Obviously, it has already been ruled that doesn't happen and I'm definitely cool with that.
