079 Town Square Structure Building 0 Town Square Enters Play Disengaged. When Town Square Enters Play you must put a Creature you control inside it or Town Square is Discarded. Town Square has 5 Health for each Creature inside it.

I'm not quite sure what the point of this card is. Is it just a place to put your Creatures Out of Play?

exactly - mainly for wandering creatures, who will reset after they return to play.

And for creatures that would normaly need to be sacrificed at the end of turn...

Lest we forget that the main reason that it has been used is to recycle creatures with come into play abilities. Not to mention with DU you also have creatures with leave play abilities...
