Ok, in as much as I really appreciate ME and it grows on me more and more, in concert with the fact that I do very well in Magic and it does well by me...I'll play poker...holdem, omaha, stud...you did say card game, right? If poker isn't mass produced, I don't know what is. You get more hits for online poker than you do for porn nowadays.
It's so challenging and constantly evolving and changing. That's because it has more to do with person vs person than cards. It's more skillful (don't argue the luck thing, please), and it test several virtues like patience, tactics, logic, emotion...the whole array.
But if you meant CCG, don't make us choose man. It's not healthy for ME to try to out-do the more established games yet.

I'm an esatblsiehd pro yu-Gi-oh player, so I'd naturally pick that, but ME will get up there.

I'm a core Magic player but have found ME to be more skillful in many areas. It's lack of cards due to being new, art/lack of foils, and a 1/2 dozen or so game/cards issues are all that is holding it back. Which may not event be considered holding back due to it being so new. Might just be better explained as growing pains. However as you grow you develop, and hopefully the game will develop well over the next few expansions. I think a big area is the characters which is the key part of the game. With only a few characters being competitive and ME launching right into the competitive world at start its key that the next few expansions help grow the character competitiveness area. I'm sure this will be done but it will be the area that can make or break the game.
I really hope the game does well and if I was a betting man I would put my money on it because, I really love playing the game. Just please keep it competitive and build on its collector value. BTW if you haven't relized I WANT FOILS!!! lol
Then I will build my foil deck and Kieth can sign it for me... ;D Muhahahaha!
