(When a Creature with Vampiric deals Combat Damage to a Creature with less Loyalty than its own, the Controller of the Vampiric Creature gains control of that Creature and that Creature also gains Vampiric, unless that Creature is Destroyed. If both Creatures have Vampiric, both are Destroyed. Creatures with Vampiric lose Vampiric whenever there is a Time Token on them, and each time they deal Combat Damage they gain a Time Token.)

At what point does the Creature Blocking or Defending lose the Loyalty? As soon as 0 Speed is reached and the Combat begins resolving or not until after the Combat Event is done resolving? That is, will the reduction kick in before checking to see if the Creature in question has less loyalty than the Vampire King? (I am assuming here it doesn't kick in with a mere declaration of an intent to have the Block or Defend, as, if something of a higher Speed removes them from the event they haven't actually Blocked or Defended.)

What about the case of a Creature with Quickness Blocking or Defending? Does the Vampire King's Ability go off at its Speed and not affect a Creature that kills it before Speed 0 or is it a case of a Triggered Ability that will affect the Creature killing it regardless?
