Yes, I will most likely be there Thursday. Expect a new deck from me though. ;D I'm not sure if I'm going to use Zycon, Lady Phe' Ronde, of Lord Sutraps. I was also trying to make a good Belphegor deck but it didn't really work as planned. I'll see if I can fix that up later and maybe I might use that.

I do appreciate the post on the tourney and I am not trying to diss anyone but honestly 2 pple went 3-1 and the next 4 or more ppl were 2-2 so placing was based mostly on opponents win-loss records. Which doesnt efficiently state whether one deck is better than another. And the match that Grimus lost to the Goblin Archer combo was turn 2 both games which quite honestly any deck would have lost to. I almost built a deck with the dark mage but like arashi said it just didnt have enough bonus. I think the playability factor in glye and sutraps are the fact that they are 6 and 8 in power which can easily make up for downfalls. I think that the way this game should be played and decks be built should be to explode off the line and not so much a control factor. This game is way to explosive with cards like goblin archers to try and prepare for. The fact is if you drop goblin archers and dec of war or sword of quickness on first or second turn and they cant kill it your dead. As there are other first turn similarities such as that scenario. Build for fast kill or dont come in first seems to be the current format.

Actually, 3 people went 3-1. Glye beat Grimus, Sutraps beat Glye, and Grimus beat Sutraps. I would agree with you that MOST decks need to kill fast. The exception is Grimus and maybe the Zycon control decks. The key with playing them is to set up a solid defense FAST to hold off the onslaught and then win, usually somewhat slowly. I wouldn't be surprised to see some very good agressive Grimus decks appear soon. The biggest thing they have going against them is not being able to play goblin archers.

i actually find that my particular glye combo deck deals with the fast attacking aggro decks and the long dragged out control decks rather well, the only tough situation ive seem to run into is lord strap on lol but i think i got a new srat down for him so weel see

Glye combo gets burned to the face. It's not sobroken, jay. lol
Do you ever feel that with this deck style of yours that you have to get it done in the early game? Rather, that if you're opponent was able to drag you to the mid-game under stable conditions that your deck kinda runs out of steam? It's just an innocent but curious question...I was having this discussion with a friend who commented that about his version of this style. Who knows...your version might be the house.

actually im glad u asked, ive modified my deck to the point that reguardless of my hand i can play it out, ive been in long dragged out games with all different control decks and ive been in short fast face to face matches with aggro and beat decks.... and ive made the appropriate ajustments for such events including later in gmae combos as well as early first and second turn combos all working out for me very well. ive yet to rlly run into a problem, other than my most recent run in with the newer sutraps decks (wich i have made modifications accordingly too) i fair well against most everything

That's all you could ever plan for...favorable outlooks and conditions against the game's top metagamed decks. Here, here for sobrokenjay's so-broken-ness.!
