Here I will post my thoughts on the characters that are currently available. Feel free to post your thoughts as well and comments on my opinions are welcome.
Elder Gerge- Not too bad. Mediocre leadership, pretty good power, and a lot of health. He doesn't give any additional abilities without a structure so that takes away from him.
6/10
Glye Rivendale- Pretty good. LOW leadership but he makes up for it with great power and health. He gives all warriors false loyalty so he can use any warrior but not too much else.
7/10
Grimus Gravorcious- A pretty good character but has his share of weaknesses. He can control any creature without much problem, but aside from that he has extremely low health, one power, and not much else. He does have all the dark magic you will ever need though.
8/10
Lord Zycon- Great character! He can cast about 1/3 of the spells in the game on his own and can cast most of the others with little help. He has fair leadership, low power, and average health. His abilities with a guild out are outstanding as well.
9/10
Lady Mcdonnan- I'm not a big fan of lady mcdonnan...Sure she has 15 leadership(the highest so far) but she has only one power and a frail 10 health. She only gives additional abilities if you have 2 different structures built(one is hard enough...). If your going to play her then you might as well play Grimus as they are similar but Grimus is BY FAR better. Lady Mcdonnan is one of the worst characters in my opinion.
4/10
Lady Phe' Ronde- Another top character! Fair leadership, one power and above average health. Her best feature is the fact that you draw two cards per turn! Hand advantage is one thing that is somewhat overlooked in this game, and I have seen a lot of decks burn out because of it(my aggro/control deck for instance). Over all she is one of the best characters in my opinion.
9/10
Lord Sardaine- On o.k. character. He's got mediocre leadership, one power, and average health. Beyond that he gives you the option to cycle through your draw once per turn and makes it so wizards under your control with more than one time token on them cannot be damaged(I don't really get the point of this). If you have a woodland sanctuary than he can manipulate time tokens.
5.5/10
Sir Donree daggameir- The worst character IMHO. He has mediocre leadership, 3 power, and 20 health. He has no additional abilities until you build at least one castle. Most knights so far have at least 12 loyalty and so Donree can't even control the type that he enhances! If your going to use him, you might as well use Elder Gerge as they are similar but Elder Gerge has one more power and can at least control the creature type that he powers up.
3/10
Lord Sutraps- A pretty good character. He has below average leadership, only ONE action, The best attack power, and 20 health! He nullifies one point of damage each time it's dealt to him and he can play one undead for free each round during your opponents turn! His ONLY downside is having one action, but a devils contract or a ring of temporal can change that.
8.5/10
Balphegor- Not too bad. He has mediocre leadership, fair power, and awesome health as well as pretty good magical stats. His ability is nice when using curses but thats about it.(Unless your trying to deck your opponent ). He is similar to Zycon, so if your not running curses then Zycon may be the better choice.
7.5/10
Kershawndie- Overall, not too good. She has below average leadership, fair power, and average health. She gives all dragons false loyalty which is a bad thing when it comes to hatchlings, but a good thing for something like braqmentar. She gains flying as long as she controls a dragon which is good but the rest of her abilities require a structure.
4.5/10
Saintheah- Overall a fair character. She starts with mediocre leadership, low power, and low health, but flies! She does however gain +1 leadership for each creature under her control and an additional +1 for each angel(not that she can really control any). She has all the light magic you will ever need and with one structure, she can gain health based on the number of creatures she controls. Some well timed creature removal will set her on a chain of loyalty rolls and possible health issues. Her, Grimus, and Lady McDonnan are all very similar.
6/10
Thandore- Another pretty good character. He has fair leadership, fair power, and above average health. He gives all rogues under his control invisibility which can be very good. With a guild out, all of your rogues will enter play disengaged and thandore gains quickness. Overall pretty solid.
8/10
If I were to put the characters in order from best to worst in a tier list, then it would be something like this:
Tier 1- Lord Zycon and Lady Phe' Ronde.
Tier 2- Lord Sutraps, Thandore, and Grimus.
Tier 3- Balpegor and Glye.
Tier 4- Sainthea, Lord Sardaine, and Elder Gerge.
Tier 5- Kershawndie, Lady McDonnan, and Sir Donree Daggameir.
Anyway, this is just my opinion on the characters currently available. Post your thoughts and opinions and see how they compare.
