Why aren't more deck lists posted?

I know that the MEGA Face-off is coming up and people might be afraid of other people stealing their tech, but I'm surprised more full deck lists aren't posted.

For most other card games, after a large tournament is held, the top 4-top 8 have their deck lists posted as a matter of course.

I think that it would really help ME as a game if tourney organizers/ME/individual players posted their lists and more complete reports.

But maybe I'm off base.

What do you think?

I would love it if after every regional the Sithmasters would forcibly post here the top 4 decks, swiss or otherwise. Combine that with the top players here show and telling. I'd show mine if you'd show yours. It would only force us to do better, and it would finally determine what the real tangible metagame is until the next set would come out, which is very soon.

i think the big reason is....... they didnt need decklists and the people individulaly dont go on this site or dont want to share their deck. magic has all listss and someitems owners show the lists.

I think most people want to keep their best ideas secret. Mainly because they are going to use the idea themselves and don't want a tourney of mirror matches or because they don't want their own good idea used against them. I, for one, don't mind sharing some deck ideas, but they won't be my best ideas. It would be like giving your enemy the blue prints to your ultimate weapon in the middle of a war. ;D In a perfect world that would be nice...but with the MEGA FACE OFF coming up soon, I don't think anyone wants to reveal their secret weapon. If we all did, it would make for one dull tournament.
