It looks like the builder was working with a limited card pool. The basis of the deck is decent but I was surprised at some of the card choices. It does look like the entire field was working with about the same choices of cards. The base of this deck is very good, it just looks like it could use a bit more fine tuning.
Grats on piloting it to First Place. All things being equal, the best player will usually end up on top. Hope to see you at Gencon!

well i dunno lol, perhaps it takes more skill to play that deck then it wood a finely tuned deck like ours spiller....for all we kno he will own us up lol srry that makes me laff

I don't think anyone playing this deck would have won the NE regional or Mid-West Regional. I know that the game is just starting to evolve on the west coast. I wouldn't be surprised that they show up with much improved decks for the Face-off.

I was at the regional. I didn't get to play Chris but I heard he did really good.
Most of us we're using a very small card pool. In fact this guy only started playing the game like a week or so prior. His first place is well deserved.
