I'm curious...why some incomplete numbers of cards? What makes 2 Sworn Defenders better that 3? Why 1 Ring?
With the recent developments, there seems to be a lot of item removal out...is it ever hard to keep that Declaration of War out? If so, can you risk that many loyalty problem creatures?
My question are just curious ones...obviously the deck was awesome to win NE ME. Congratulations!

Much props for winning Jeff but I too think it may be too destructive to yourself especially with Tranquil Touch out there. Also I have found that your deck runs more solid if you can play as many of your best cards as possible so playing 4 or 3 of a card is almost a must when possible. Just an idea on improving your deck for MEGA

I really like the deck. If I made any changes to it it would be to loose 1 bella and the 3 mounted archers to add 1x RoTM, 1x Sworn Defender, 1x(or 2x) Vorex, and 1x Gossipmonger. I like the SB choices but still not sold on the Guardian Angel. It is hard to argue with success however. Blaine, any feedback on things you would change? Cards you didn't like etc? Did you find the 15 loyalty creatures hurting you much? Grats on the regional win and, most likely, the overall season win.

hrmmmm let me respond to the constructive critisism
about odd number of cards.... I have to have 50 cards. and i priortized my cards and those cards were low on the list so they got only 2 and 1.
about item removal. i had no troubles with keeping it out and when it did die it was usually in a circumstance when i was soon to die also
and kevmo the cards that i ran the most i could of were the best cards.
spiller... 1-2 vorexes are PLENTY. i just ran 2 so if i drew one i could slave driver it in still. i usually never cast it unless its for a win. gossip is just a slave target and i was thinking about taking out RoTA

Blaine, if I didn't make it clear before, I will now...this deck was very good. Of the deckbuilds I see from your Regional, your deck is by far the most consistent, aggressive, and fastest. It is not a matter of luck at all to me why you won. The odds were with you considering the field. (Like you said, with a couple of Control Zycon out there, you might have had a little more trouble, but you metagamed appropiately and didn't expect to see it, and you were right.)
Regardless, I also have heard people say Chris might have beat you under different circumstances. Chris is my boy, and I love his deck, but I'll be the first to acknowledge and admit that his deck was slower, less aggressive, and less consistent than yours. Why? Well, he did have awesome tricks that you're deck couldn't do, but when a deck does that it risks drawing weird sometimes and/or being forced to play higher loyalty risk creatures that you wouldn't originally have planned for, especially with a fierce deck like your pounding at his door.
Perhaps he did get unlucky in his rolls against you, but for one that doesn't make you lucky, it makes you good. He HAD to get lucky in that situation to beat you, and he didn't, so he lost. Simple as that.
Either way, even if you DID get lucky on one event or the other, which is not what I'm saying, it doesn't account for all or even most of your success. You didn't become the season winner from one tournament, and you couldn't have luckily won all the events you have, right?
That being said, I know you are a great player, and Chris knows it too. Congratulations once again on the win...you earned it.

ny deck usually doesnt abbuse the archers as mcuh as i woulda liked though. the unblockabls hurt him severly though.
and just to let everyone know. even if chris didnt get unlucky that ONE game we still had another game considering i beat him 2-0 just another piece to throw out there
