My name's Nathanial and I live in Emporia, KS. It's a city of 26,000 people halfway between Wichita and Kansas City. I own and operate a gaming store called Sporadic Games in Emporia. Because of the size of the city, it's a small store with a small but dedicated group of players. I've got anywhere from 4 - 12 ME players at any time. Most of the players here play 3-5 different games at any given time, so getting enough together on the same night for tournaments is tough for us.
I learned how to play ME at last year's Gen Con. My friend and I were sitting outside the exhibitor hall on the first day waiting for hours(we kinda arrived VERY early). Anyway, this nice little kid came up and asked us if we'd like to learn a new game. I thought, "Why not? That's why I came to Gen Con." A couple other ME demo people came over and helped teach us how to play. I had Zycon and so I won. MUWAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!! My only regret is that I missed the first tournament in the hotel. I should've gone to that.
Anyway, I enjoyed the game and spent the next several weeks...stretching into more than a month....trying to get ME from my distributors. Eventually I did and the rest is history.

Welcome Nathanial. Good to see more faces on the boards, and more judges to potentially debate amongst each other with. lol.
Kansas, huh...you know, that could only be what...6-7 hours away from Chicago Regional...just a thought. lol
