Can angels be brought to play with a slavemaster?
and i believe That there may have been a misprint on the guardian angel card. on the bottom it says: (Angels cannot be hired by creatures without light magical abilities) when all of the other angels say: (angels cannot be hired by characters without light magical abilities)
Thanks.

You could put an angel into play with slavemaster as only characters hire creatures. I assume it is a misprint but it refers to all angels (or Angels ).

Angels will hopefully get better with the next set. There is only 2 chars with light magic abilities. Sucks to have themin only those 2 decks. From what I have seen there are no items that give chars light magic abilities as well. Hopefully there will be some better chars to open them up othere then limit them...

the cards that you have listed are great but if your slave driver makes it past turn 3 then the game should already be in your favor. Pathfinder is good as well but that means that you have to have an angel in your hand. If there were an angel recruiter that would be awsome. I understand what you mean and I new of those cards but you are unable to put the 12 angels that you would want in a deck with out have alternate ways of getting them in. I understand that the game is already about card advantage and the above mentioned cards create that but for demoing and just playing right now you can only realisticly play one char with them.
thanks for the quick respnce once again...

What we typically demo with right now are the Lord Zycon and Lady McDonnan theme decks. Then once people have a good understanding of the basics we change the decks to something more exciting. We are in the process of creating some 10 - 15 card decks designed to demo the game and get them through a quick tutorial and have the game end in roughly 10 minutes. We will be using decks like these at Origins & GenCon.

i wish angels were good though. the WHOLE DECK. its just tooinconisintatn. i looked at all the angels. i was VERY dissapointed in them. a majoritiy were 15-20 loyality. and then bella. to make them good u need like 3 more 12 loyalty angels.

I agree with your statement. I would also like to see some different one. There are undead wizards and then wizards. It would be cool to see some "dark" angels and light angels. make them a little more diverse. The angel deck is ok as long as you are not playing against a deck that has 2 removal spells. You opponent kills bella and another 1 drop and your game is over from the get go.

that is the main problem with them. lack of low loyalty angels.

I agree with you guys...the two characters that can hire them have definite trouble keeping control over them. The only use that I've really found for them is to either pathfinder of slave drive them in with Grimus, but that doesn't work all that great either. The best angel in my opinion is the guardian angel which does help with Grimus' extreme lack of defense but I found something much better...

for the limited cardpool they have there are none that are overly powerful. Becuz of there loyalty there are very few if any that you can splash in other decks.

You could pathfinder or Slave drive in any of them in a grimus deck and never worry about loyalty
